Ascent Oriental builds AI-powered tools that solve real problems for SMEs
and microentrepreneurs. Four products, each born from a challenge the founders
faced themselves. Based in Dubai, UAE. Part of the NVIDIA Inception Program
and in5 Tech accelerator.

The company was founded by a husband-and-wife team: Karim C (CEO), a self-taught
AI developer with 20+ years in hospitality and business and an École hôtelière
de Lausanne alum, and Aurélie C (CMO), a brand strategist who ensures the
products make sense to real people. Together they combine Gulf business
experience with AI engineering and Swiss precision.

AlignEat, the first product, was born at the GITEX Dubai Apps Championship
when Karim turned a personal frustration with food allergies into an
AI-powered solution. A conversation at that same event led to Ascent Oriental
joining the NVIDIA Inception Program.
